Rem(a)inders is the physical combination of two words, ‘remainder’ and ‘reminder'. The remainders are what have been left behind once something is gone. These remainders serve as a reminder of what was once present.

Larger-than-life-sized hallow husks hang from steel beams; they taper from a wide top end to a near point that dances just centimeters off the surface of the concrete floor. The pods quiver as gusts of wind whip through the fan blades. Their voluminous appearance makes you wonder whether at any moment they might break free from the thin threads that attach them to the industrial grid structure above. They look as if they could serve as protection for a large creature, perhaps even a human, but in reality they would not protect at all. These are the remnants of what previously existed and their physical remains act as a reminder of their past.
